SSD oder HDD (Festplatte)?
IT-Technik Klimt empfiehlt die Nutzung einer SSD. Die sogenannte „Solid State Disk“ ist extrem schnell, unempfindlich gegen Stöße, geräuschlos und produziert weniger Abwärme. Eine SSD ist mit einem USB-Stick oder einer SD-Karte aus einer Digitalkamera vergleichbar.
Eine Festplatte (HDD, „Hard Disc Drive“) besitzt mechanische Schreib-/Leseköpfe auf rotierenden Platten, die zu den entsprechenden Daten fahren müssen. Liegen Daten an verschiedenen Orten auf der Festplatte, kann der Lesevorgang extrem langsam sein, was das typische „Rattern“ erzeugt. Bildlich kann man sich das Ganze wie einen Schallplattenspieler vorstellen. Festplatten eignen sich weiterhin zur Archivierung von Daten, da viel Speicherplatz für wenig Geld geboten wird.
Und wenn mal etwas kaputt geht?
Für die HP Computer haben wir in der Regel auch Jahre nach dem Kauf noch Ersatzteile vorrätig. Selbst nach Ablauf der Garantie bleiben die Kosten für Ersatzteile überschaubar. Außerdem sind die Geräte so gebaut, dass sie sich schnell und einfach reparieren lassen.
